CyberKids

I'm so glad that you all liked the Voki. They are so much fun! They are easy to create and it's fun to try out different voices.

Let's keep working on our Voki's so we can get them finished before our well-deserved Carnival break!

CyberKids.

Writing is a form of communication. Writing is also an extension of your thinking. To write clearly, you have to THINK clearly. By "clear" I mean that you must explain yourself fully and in a way that others understand you easily. This is a skill just like playing football, club penguin, the violin or horseback riding.

In Year 4 we began to practice with definitions (remember?). What is a dictionary? A dictionary is a book that give definitions to words.

Let's continue with definitions and explanations -'cause they're fun!!!!!

Today's task:

Carnival break is coming up very soon. If you could do whatever you wanted to or go wherever you wanted to over Canival break, where would you go and what would you do? Explain fully!

(Think about it a minute. Write your text. Go online and find a picture that supports your text.)

January 8 - Happy New Year CyberKids!

Get a Voki now!

Welcome back CyberKids. As is traditional at the beginning of each new year, let's make New Year's Resolutions to include in our blog.

I'm a little disappointed that our CyberKids blog is looking very
unattended :-( We haven't been finishing projects and don't have a lot of new material on our blog. Let's make a resolution that in 2008 we will have lots of new material to share with everyone in cyberspace.

Let's each make 3 resolutions for 2008.

1) Using PowerPoint - list your 3 resolutions for 2008
2) Include or create an image for 2008 (http://www.glassgiant.com - you can create a neon sign - really cool!)
3) Include your name
4) Let's save your work to my pen drive to upload on our blog
